Chimamanda Adichie’s Half Of A Yellow Sun has been voted by listeners of BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour as the best fiction novel over the past decade.
The book has received numerous awards in the past, including the 2007 Orange Prize For Fiction, and named among The New York Times’ 100 Most Notable Books for 2007.
The movie, which also had a movie adaptation which was released in 2014, tells the story of the Biafran War through the perspective of the characters Olanna, Ugwu, and Richard.
