Salma Hayek's daughter Valentina is growing her hair to donate to children with cancer

She's an humanitarian who has raised awareness of women's rights around the globe. 
And it seems Salma Hayek's eight-year-old daughter is already following in her famous mother's philanthropic footsteps.
Heart-warming: Salma Hayek posted an image on Sunday of her eight-year-old daughter who is already following in her humanitarian footsteps by growing her hair to donate to a charity for children with cancer
The 49-year-old actress Instagrammed a shot of Valentina on Sunday, explaining that the youngster is growing her hair long to donate to make a wig for a child with cancer.

Salma added a heartwarming caption to the image: 'My daughter valentina is growing her beautiful mane so she can cut it and donate it to make a wig for children with cancer. Now that is the spirit of christmas ❤️'
She is seen with her tresses nearly reaching her waist, wearing cat ears on a head band and standing in front of a seasonal scene.
